Ever since I got home this evening, I have spent the last couple of hours searching for some really nice photography and art work. I came across this vibrant collection of photos via Tumblr Radar. I admire the creativity used in each photo to make these really nice multi-toned effects.
Back in high school I had a strong passion for art and proved to my teachers that I had a natural flare. I’ve always felt that fashion and art make a really good combination. We always aim to choose the right colours and patterns when deciding what to wear from our wardrobe.
Expect to see more art and photography on our blog real soon, as we look to enhance the blog with more features and pages.
Dover Street Market reopened their London branch with a brand new artistic theme. The multi- level clothing store closed down for a few days as they redecorated all of the floors in the building. I went into the store last week to find manikins coated with different coloured patterns and minimalistic interior designs on other floors. I later found out that the owner of DSM (Rei Kawakubo), collaborated alongside Hermes to create ‘Comme Des Carres’, which explained part of the new transformation within the ground floor. I have always been a fan of interior design and Dover Street Market has always been up there for me.
The good news just keeps on getting better; On February the 15th A.P.C. began showcasing their limited edition and special collaboration collections in the basement level of DSM. Which reminds me; I recently came across a wild camouflaged A.P.C. jacket which I MUST add to my wish list items.
The newly renamed label, Saint Lauren, redecorated the third floor in Dover Street Market with a cool space themed interior design. I still dislike the name change, just like many others as I have always loved originality in clothing brands. I guess we’ll have to see how the brand continues to progress over the next few months with its new logo.
All I’m gonna say is I will cry if I don’t order these by the end of next week.
Don’t you just hate it when you see something you want so much, that the pain you receive from not having it continues to get bigger, and bigger, and BIGGER..
I Recently fell in love with these boots when I saw them on a US website. The last time I wore boots like this was probably back in 2010. I think it’s about time I get myself another pair.
On May 28th after completing my exams in University, I found myself developing various business ideas and eventually found one I wished to pursue.
In June, I selected a few friends that possess similar interests, as well as the right skill-sets needed to help bring my ideas to reality. A group was then formed.
For a total of three months I kept myself away from clubs, bars and parties; only with two things on my mind: The people in my team and accomplishing our first basic goal.
We held regular meetings all over London, brainstorming and building up our ideas.
The name of our upcoming company is called ‘Omnistyle’.
‘The word Omni means ‘ALL’, hence the reason why we appreciate styles of all forms, from street to the suave, and look to building confidence in individuals’.
Currently we aim to build up our fanbase as we prepare to release more content and concepts to our name in 2013, as well as our main goal.

The fam, 2morrows Victory drop their latest visual to the dub Rancid Dreamstate courtesy of SoulCulture. Stemming from their latest project The Prime, the soulful roots that acclaimed the initial support remains but enhanced. Everything’s real, everything’s trippy, everything is…dope.

Yuna is a talented singer and songwriter from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She’s worked with the likes of Pharrell, Andre Harris and other known producers. She is also a Muslim that take’s religion very seriously.
When I saw this video, I just had to post it up. Frank Ocean’s track has been covered by so many known and upcoming artists. It’s one of those songs that will never get old.
Yuna released a self titled album back in April, which is becoming increasingly popular. I think my favourite song has to be ‘Live Your Life’. You can definetly hear Pharrell beats within the track and the video gives a really relaxed vibe throughout. Check out the official music video for ‘Live Your Life’.
The title of this post says it all, Theophilus London is dropping his ‘LVRS Holiday II: Rose Island’ album drops tonight! I’ve been waiting for the album to drop ever since Theo’s performance @ XOYO.
The project will include appearances from A$AP Rocky, Big Boi, Lunice & more. Even Marvin Gaye is featuring on a track. “Big Spender”, “Lisa” (above) and “She Said Ok”, are just some of my current favourites, but there’s one track in particular I look forward to listening to. My Facebook followers probably know what track I’m talking about, as I posted a video of the UK performance on my timeline last month.
The artwork for Mr. London’s mixtape (sponsored by clothing brand LVRS), can be found on the link below, where you can also watch the count down of the album release:
I would love my deck to have one of those crisp designs above, I’d be kick pushing it all day..
Over the last few months Kate Upton has been at the centre of attention on numerous websites and fashion magazines. I Never knew who this stunning model was until I came across photo shoots of her on GQ and the Daily Mail. She also performed the Cat Daddy for Terry and his film crew. Now tell me you don’t wanna get down with her, after you watch the video down below?
A full collection of the ‘Skate Upton’ Decks can be found on the Skate Upton Website.
Falling Whistles gives a small window into our world’s largest war. Originally just a journal written about boys sent to the frontlines of war armed with only a whistle, readers forwarded it with the same kind of urgency in which it was written and demanded to know – what can we do?
The Falling Whistles campaign launched with a simple response - make their weapon your voice and be a whistleblower for peace in Congo. Read the story and buy the whistle. Proceeds will help restore the lives of war-affected kids. Share their story and speak up for them.
Together, we’ll become the voice of a growing coalition for peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Kaws - ‘The Nature of Need’, Galerie Perrotin, HK..
KAWS has become a sort of poster boy for contemporary Pop art. The artist is immensely popular in non-Western circles, and recently served as the spotlight for the official opening of Galerie Perrotin in the Central District of Hong Kong. “The Nature of Need” marked the artist’s unveiling of his new body of work, which somehow seems to be more striking and bold than any of his previous work. A huge, custom canvas Hands of Death and Chum pieces caught attention while a series of long, vertical pieces displayed in a repetitive manner gave the exhibit a bit of flair in the largest vertical display of the artist’s work ever with over 50 rectangles. The work is still on display and you can find details below.

Last nights performance was CRAZY. I’m not one to usually go and watch artists perform live for various reasons, but two weeks ago when I found out Theo was coming to the UK for ‘Tour de Roses 2012’, I had to purchase tickets. The last time he came to the UK was over two years ago.
2morrow’s Victory started the night playing some really caj songs. I’d recommend to many followers and friends to check out their mixtape and music on soundcloud. At the end of their performance the stage went dark and haunted music came on as Theo made his way onto the stage. His cousin and the bass players were cool as f*ck. It brought back memories of when I used to play my fathers bass guitar.
Theo played a wide selection of songs, varying from old to new songs featuring on his new album, LVRS Holiday II: Rose Island. The crowd went wild when Big Spender came along, even I kept on asking to come on the stage and get crunk with the group. When I Stand Alone came on I found myself in a trance for a little while, as it was the main song that drew me into Theo’s music. I’ve lost count of how many times I tweet lines from the song to Twitter.
Near to the end of the performance, Theo was giving away merchandise like t-shirts, pictures and a few limited edition Vinyls. Whilst he was giving away the Vinyls he looked directly at me and through a Vinyl in my direction which I managed to catch. I later got the Vinyl signed and a picture with the guy.
Looking at the clothes he wears, whether its the new Air Yeezy II’s, the gold plated belt, the gold rings, all of it made me feel inspired to keep staying focus and achieve the goals I have set.
Theophilus London will be in London for the next two days before he continues the rest of his tour.
